SAKOR Technologies, Inc. Announces Low-Cost Ac Dynamometer Solution For Basic Electric Motor Testing

DynoLAB-LT.

SAKOR Technologies, Inc., a recognized leader in the implementation of instrumentation products for electric motor testing and long known for the powerful and cost-effective DynoLAB EM dynamometer test control system, announces the DynoLAB LT, a low-cost, complete turn-key system for electric motor testing. DynoLAB LT offers the test control and data acquisition capabilities required for basic electric motor testing as well as all of the benefits of an AC motoring dynamometer, but is priced up to 35% less than a comparably equipped DynoLAB EM system.

Unlike its predecessors, the DynoLAB LT offers a fixed I/O configuration optimized for basic electric motor testing. The system has provisions for measuring speed and torque, and optional voltage and current supply to the motor under test. From this data, the system is easily able to calculate values such as input and output power and efficiency. The system's software, a true subset of the DynoLAB EM, offers the basic functionality required for most performance, durability, and quality control testing.

The DynoLAB LT system is specifically designed to work with SAKOR's Accudyne™ line of AC motoring dynamometers. Accudyne dynamometers offer full 4-quadrant operation with seamless transition between loading and motoring modes. The combination of a DynoLAB LT with an Accudyne dynamometer is perfect for performing durability and performance testing, as well as quality control auditing of electric motors. This system is particularly appropriate in applications that need both driving and loading capability, such as those requiring direct measurement of true no-load speed and current, bearing and windage losses and back-EMF generation.

Whether dealing with performance evaluation, motor durability, or quality control testing, the DynoLAB LT system offers a quality and affordable dynamometer test system for electric motor testing needs.
