Pads for Switchgear & Sectionalizing Cabinets

Highline produces a variety of box pads to support the switchgear offered by all of the leading manufacturers. They are also used as vaults or splice boxes. The strength and durability of the box pads have been proven in thousands of applications throughout the United States. The box pads are manufactured from fiberglass reinforced polyester, and are heavily ribbed on the sides and under the top flange to provide high load- bearing capacity, while allowing maximum space utilization. The box pads are gel coated to protect them completely from UV radiation.They are shaped so they can be easily stacked for storage and shipment.

No special handling or delivery equipment is required, and the fiberglass boxes can be easily installed and leveled. Comparable concrete box pads weigh well over 3,000 lbs. Two or three men can handle even the largest fiberglass box.

The color of the box pads is dark green (Munsell 7GY 3.29/15).
