Maysteel's multi-connection secondary enclosures provide a safe, convenient and aesthetically pleasing connection point for multiple secondary services remote from the three-phase transformer.
Finish specifications:
- Superior powder paint finish exceeds ANSI standards
- Standard construction is 14-gauge steel as standard; 12-gauge steel upon request
- Munsell green (7GY 3.29 / 1.5) to blend with surroundings
Construction and design features:
- Tamperproof construction to ANSI standards
- Combination welded and bolted construction with no exposed bolt heads
- Copper bus bars are high-conductivity copper and are designed for max. temp of 70°C
- Bus mountings are designed to withstand short circuit forces
- Phase bus insulated for 600V
- Continuous current ratings through 6000A
- Bus bars punched for 2-hole NEMA spades for up to 24 services
- Insulation is molded insulators or 3/4" GPO-3 rated fiberglass
All multi-connection secondary enclosures are manufactured with non-ferrous hardware and include hinged doors with a latch and penta-bolt for security.
