Description
The AMS-500Plus is a device that continuously measures the concentration of dissolved hydrogen and water in transformer oil.
The unit is used to detect transformer incipient faults at their earliest stage and to provide additional value through continuous monitoring of dissolved water, an important parameter for evaluating the condition of a transformer's solid insulation.The system features full on-site and remote communication capabilities and comes complete with an installation kit, control software and data trending software. The AMS-500Plus can be specified when a new transformer is ordered or can be mounted on an existing transformer in approximately 2 hours.
